On April 11th, Cover News learned that recently, the train bogie for the first C-level repair of Chengdu Metro Line 18 was successfully accepted and delivered at the Chengdu Rail Equipment Smart Factory, marking the official completion and operation of the cross platform vehicle bogie maintenance production line at the Chengdu Rail Equipment Smart Factory. The commissioning of this bogie maintenance production line means that the core capability layout of "whole vehicle+bogie+large component" vehicle maintenance in Chengdu Rail Equipment Smart Factory has been basically completed, which will effectively promote the upgrading of the Chengdu Rail Transit Vehicle Equipment Industry Chain and add new momentum to the "building circle and strong chain" of Chengdu's industry. It is understood that the Chengdu Rail Equipment Smart Factory is the first maintenance base in the western region with independent maintenance capabilities for urban rail A-type electric buses. Chengdu CRRC Rail Equipment Co., Ltd., jointly established by the Rail Industry Investment Group under Chengdu Rail Group, CRRC Sifang, and CRRC Changke, has invested in the construction of the Yuanhua Depot of the Chengdu Metro. The total construction area of the maintenance warehouse exceeds 80000 square meters, and 8 maintenance lines have been built.
